Throughout the year, we offer campus tours, Information Sessions, Open Houses, and other opportunities to learn about our innovative curriculum, meet members of our community, and see our campus in action.
We encourage every prospective family to visit at least once before completing the admission interview and application process.

Understanding Independent Schools: A New Jersey Parent Guide
On Wednesday, September 23, hear from six New Jersey independent school educators about the unique benefits that independent, college prep schools offer to students and their families. Topics include: "what is an independent school?", the school search process, how to apply, financial aid, and more. The session will take place at 7:00 p.m. and conclude with a Q&A session.
Panelists and moderators include representatives from Chapin School, Delbarton School, Far Hills Country Day School, Montclair Kimberley Academy, Morristown Beard School, and Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child.

Offered both in person and virtually via Zoom, these events provide an introduction to our academics, community, and student experience, with opportunities to hear from faculty, school leaders, and current parents. Academic Support and the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) Information Session
The Morristown Beard School Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) advances innovative, student-centered education by bringing together educators, families, and community members for meaningful conversations, workshops, and learning opportunities. Through the CTL, MBS shares research-based practices, explores emerging trends in education, and fosters collaboration to support the growth of students and teachers alike.
Join us for our upcoming Center for Teaching and Learning Information Session on Wednesday, October 14, at 9:00 a.m. This virtual event will introduce the CTL, highlight its mission and programming, and provide an opportunity to learn more about upcoming offerings.

Arts in Action at MBS
Join us for Arts in Action on Wednesday, October 28, at 6:30 p.m. for an evening celebrating creativity, expression, and the many ways the arts inspire the MBS community. This in-person event will showcase the passion and talent of our students while highlighting the important role the arts play in a well-rounded MBS education.

Athletics at MBS
Join us for Athletics Information Night on Monday, November 9, at 6:30 p.m. This in-person event will provide an opportunity to learn more about the MBS athletics program, meet members of our coaching staff, and discover how we support student-athletes in pursuing excellence both on and off the field.

Center for Innovation & Design (CID)
Join us for an in-person CID Night on Tuesday, January 27, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Registration details to follow.
The Center for Innovation & Design (CID) at Morristown Beard School is a hands-on, collaborative space where students turn ideas into action through interdisciplinary learning. From robotics and digital media to design thinking and entrepreneurship, the CID gives students the freedom to explore, create, collaborate, and solve real-world problems.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging
Join us for our DEIB Information Sessions on Monday, October 5, at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, November 5, at 7:00 p.m., and Wednesday, December 9, at 7:00 p.m. These virtual sessions will provide an opportunity to learn more about MBS’s ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and explore the ways our community continues to foster a welcoming and supportive environment for all.
