Athletic Facilities
Billings Field
Named after former MBS Athletics Director and coach Benjamin “Spike” Billings, Billings Field was fully rebuilt in 2022 and includes a new state-of-the-art FieldTurf surface, new backstop and dugouts, improved drainage, and a patio area that provides additional space for spectators. Billings Field hosts soccer, baseball, softball, and field hockey games. The field also serves as a practice area for other sports.
Burke Field
Burke Field hosts field hockey, football, lacrosse, and soccer games as well as track and field events. The field, which was redone in 2019, also serves as a practice area for other sports. It is surrounded by a rubberized track and includes the Crimson Terrace for spectators.
Fesseden Field
The field has a FieldTurf surface and hosts soccer and baseball events. The field also serves as a practice area for other sports.
Simon Athletic Center and Rooke Pool
The William E. Simon Athletic Center is one of the area’s finest sports facilities. Students and faculty enjoy full use of three regulation-size basketball and volleyball courts. In addition, swimmers appreciate the Athletic Center’s Rooke Pool, a 25-meter indoor pool featuring six lanes that was recently converted to saline. Surrounding the Athletic Center are four playing fields that include a running track and three multi-sport turf fields that were also recently renovated.
Twin Oaks Ice Rink
Twin Oaks Ice Rink, one of the area’s premier hockey facilities, is just one mile from campus.
