At Morristown Beard School, we’re proud to provide a journey unlike any other during the important school years of grades 6 through 12.
These Middle School and Upper School years are marked by great opportunity for intellectual, social, and emotional growth, and accordingly, we create a learning environment that will challenge your child in meaningful ways.
We focus on process over result. We encourage risk-taking and courage in decision-making in place of playing it safe and accepting the status quo. Recent Graduates Reflect on the MBS Journey
It is incredible how many similarities I have found between MBS and Villanova. They are two wonderful schools with a strong sense of community. I wanted to let you know how much MBS overall, and your class in particular, have prepared me for college and for leadership roles. I sincerely attribute my growth as a leader to you and the skills you taught me last fall. I hope to be able to see you in person again soon and look forward to continuing to share how well MBS has prepared me for these next four years.

Although I never experienced MBS while spaced six feet away from my classmates, I hope you know that the spaces, both tangible, and intangible, that you've promoted have allowed for so many students to find their place in a community. I've realized their worth in a very big way as I've navigated new spaces here at Elon. I know this was a random, one-off thought, and I'm sure you're mired in tons of extra responsibilities, but I wanted you to know how truly wonderful the school you've led is.

Reflecting on my accomplishments in the midst of all that is going on, I am beyond grateful for all of the opportunities and support my family and communities have provided me, specifically Morristown Beard. I truly attribute who I am today to MBS. The education, community, and friends pushed me to be the best version of myself and gave me the foundation for success at [Boston College], and now out in the real world.
