Grayzel '22 Receives President's Volunteer Service Award

Congratulations to MBS sophomore Alex Grayzel ’22, who recently received the President’s Volunteer Service Award for his dedicated service to the community organization SNAP (Special Needs Athletic Programs).

For the past four years, Alex has been involved with SNAP, and this past February he ran a special event for the non-profit organization. SNAP was created to inspire youth to work together through athletics, peer mentoring activities, and educational programs. SNAP's goals are to ultimately raise awareness about the impact students can make in the lives of children with autism and other disabilities.

The President’s Volunteer Service Award was founded in 2003 by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation to recognize the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity. This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too.
