Writing Across the Curriculum

The Ancient Greek word for “language,” “Logos,” is also the Ancient Greek word for “reason.” Students do not always use words for when they think critically—but at MBS we recognize that written language can help students reason and think critically in any discipline, whether it’s Math, Chemistry, Wellness, or History. Our Center for Academic Writing supports students as they write across disciplines, helping them understand how writing is a vehicle for thought and a process of thinking.
