Upper School Students Make Blankets for Project Linus

On Monday, February 22, Upper School students gathered in their advisories to make no-sew fleece blankets for children in need as part of Project Linus. Each advisory was responsible for making one blanket for the service project.

The mission of Project Linus is to collect and distribute homemade blankets to children in shelters, social service agencies, and hospitals. With chapters in every state, Project Linus has delivered more than 7 million blankets since 1995.

Community service is a cornerstone of the Morristown-Beard School educational experience, and helps MBS students gain personal satisfaction and self-confidence on their journey to becoming productive and responsible citizens.
