Upper School Holds Virtual Parents Night

Upper School Holds Virtual Parents Night

The MBS Upper School held Parents Night virtually on Thursday night, October 7 as parents attended classes and met their children’s teachers on Zoom.

The evening began with a welcome and opening remarks from Head of School Liz Morrison and Head of Upper School Ryan Liese who spoke about the excitement of returning to campus this fall, their vision for the year, and also the lessons learned from Calvin & Hobbes cartoons.

From there, parents were off to their child’s advisory, followed by an opportunity to attend each of their classes for 10 minutes.  In addition to reviewing the coursework for the year, some teachers showed photos and videos of work being done in their classrooms.

Upper School parent/advisor conferences will be held in November. The format (virtual or in-person) has not yet been determined.
