Upper School Artwork on Display in Founders Hall

The Upper School student art exhibit, showcasing the creative diversity of Morristown-Beard’s visual art students, is currently on display in Founders Hall Lobby through Saturday, June 8th. In addition, architecture projects are on display in the Phoebe Stiles King ’49 Gallery in the Math & Science Center through the summer.

The show features everything from pen-and-ink drawings to oil paintings to architectural models and photography.

The exhibit is the culmination of this year’s work done by students in all areas of the visual arts, with a special section highlighting the accomplishments of the graduating seniors.

The Art and Design Department encourages students to explore, invent, create, accomplish, and grow as artists and individuals.  In addition, MBS believes in the power of the arts to stimulate creative thinking, resourceful problem solving, collaboration and teamwork, aesthetic appreciation, and openness to new ideas.

Please stop by and enjoy!
