Tone '19 Writes Opinion Piece for USA Today Network on Lead Crisis

The USA Today Network recently published an opinion piece by Morristown-Beard School graduate Rebecca Tone ’19 about the far-reaching effects of the lead crisis.

Tone, who is currently a freshman at Georgetown University, worked in the newsroom of NorthJersey.com, the Daily Record and The Record for her Senior Project under the direction of MBS alumnus Ed Forbes ’98.  Last spring, the USA Today Network also published her opinion piece, “Looking Ahead to 2020, High School Students and Grads Mull the Election.” 

Tone was the Valedictorian at the 2019 Commencement ceremony, and also received the Class Leader Award and the Dickinson W. Richards Cup for character, scholarship, leadership and service.
