Three Seniors Receive Founder's Award from Bridges Outreach

Congratulations to MBS seniors Adam Giaquinto ’20, Mason Guida ’20, and Oliver Simon ’20, who were selected to receive the Founder’s Award from Bridges Outreach.

This award is given to those high school aged volunteers who have exhibited the qualities of a wholesome individual who has performed acts of extraordinary kindness and humility by serving those who are most vulnerable in our society. The three MBS seniors regularly volunteered with Bridges Outreach to feed the homeless in Newark, Irvington and New York City.

“I am happy to say that every award recipient has excelled in helping those who need the most help during these trying times,” said Rob Kowalski, Manager of Operations for Bridges Outreach. “You should feel proud of yourselves and I hope you continue the mission now and in the future wherever life should take you.”

The award recipients will be recognized at the Virtual Bridges Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 9th at 7 p.m. via Zoom.

Founded in 1988, Bridges reaches out to the homeless in New York City, Newark, Irvington, and Summit every week. To learn more about Bridges Outreach, visit
