Teens Impact Health Club Collects and Donates Personal Care Products

The MBS Teens Impact Health Club recently collected and donated more than 100 pounds of personal care products to the Interfaith Food Pantry Network in Morris Plains.

“Hygiene insecurity is a growing problem, as many people can’t afford these necessities,” said Olivia Siegel ’23, President of the Teens Impact Health Club. “We are grateful to all those who donated so generously including the MBS girls tennis team, Temple D’nai Or in Morristown, The Kemmerer Library of Harding Township, and The Morristown & Morris Township Library.”

As part of the personal care products drive, Olivia Siegel spoke to the 6th Grade class at Temple B’Nai Or about the problem of hygiene insecurity.

The club also recently kicked off its Flu Shot Awareness Campaign with a presentation at MBS All-School Meeting.

The mission of the MBS Teens Impact Health Club is to positively impact wellness and to spread awareness about important health issues in the School and surrounding community.
