Talia Picozzi '24 Notches 100th Career Goal in Girls Lacrosse

Congratulations to Morristown Beard School sophomore Talia Picozzi ’24 of Morristown, who scored her 100th career goal on Thursday, May 12 at home against Princeton Day School. She paced the Crimson with five goals for the afternoon.

After reaching the career milestone, Talia was quick to give credit to her teammates and coaches.

“The Morristown Beard School girls lacrosse program has helped to motivate me to become a better player every day. MBS has given me the opportunity to improve and learn more about the game,” she said. “This program provides constant positive energy for everyone to get better and make a contribution to the team. Our whole team played a huge role in making this milestone happen.”

Head Coach Maria Grant praised Talia’s work ethic and the positive example she provides for her teammates.

"Talia is always an offensive threat whenever she is within the eight-meter fan.  She has worked so hard to improve all aspects of her game each day in practice and in the off-season,” said Coach Grant.  “Her hard work and dedication have helped her to achieve this milestone, while making a significant contribution to our program."

As a freshman last season, Talia scored 40 goals and tallied 17 assists for the Crimson and was named a First Team Freedom Conference North All-Star.
