MBS Students Make a Meaningful Impact with Bridges Outreach

On Sunday, March 29, 2026, MBS students came together in the Lee Kellogg Sadrian Dining Hall with a shared purpose: to serve others. Working side by side, they prepared more than 200 sandwiches and snack bags for those in need through Bridges Outreach. Their efforts did not stop there. Students then took part in the “Bridges Run,” personally delivering the meals and connecting directly with members of the community.

MBS participates in three Bridges Runs each year, reflecting the School’s deep commitment to service. Community engagement is a cornerstone of the Morristown Beard School experience, helping students build empathy, character, and confidence as they grow into thoughtful, socially responsible citizens.

Founded in 1988, Bridges Outreach serves individuals experiencing homelessness in New York City, Irvington, Summit, and Newark on a weekly basis. Through volunteer-driven outreach and personalized case management, the organization works to address immediate needs while supporting long-term paths toward health, housing, and independence. At the heart of their mission is the belief in forming meaningful human connections. To learn more, visit www.bridgesoutreach.org.
