Student coordinators and captains have been busy gearing up for the MBS Blood Drive on Tuesday, March 7. The event will be held in the Main Gym from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and the entire community is encouraged to participate!
Anyone 16 years of age or older is eligible to donate blood (16 year-olds require parental permission). We really need support from our current and alumni parents, as well as any MBS alumni who live in the area!
Appointments for blood donation are encouraged and are on a “first-come” basis, however walk-in donors are welcome. To reserve a time, please contact Laurie Hartman at lhartman@mbs.net.
We continue to be at a severe blood emergency level with less than a 2-day supply of certain blood types in our area. There is an urgent need for universal “O” blood. Please help make this drive as successful as possible by signing up to donate blood.
If you are unable to donate blood at this time, but would like to help out, we can always use pre-packaged, individually wrapped sweet or salty treats, individual bottles of water or juice and gift cards to local establishments as “raffle prizes” for donors!
This spring’s blood drive is being led by Student Coordinators Marjorie Gonzaga ’23, Chelsea Gonzaga Torres ’24, Jonas Weinmann ’23, and Gabrielle Wolin ’24.
The Blood Drive Captains are: Hayat Bembry ’24, Sal D’Agostino ’23, Kathleen Degnan ’23, Ali Dorrego ’23, Genediyah Easterling ’25, Riley Engman ’24, Colleen Ewing ’24, Ayo Fayemi ’23, Ellie Frohlich ’23, Luke Glassman ’25, Raidah Karriem ‘25, Liv Mann ’23, Antonella Ortega ’24, Zubin Pande ’23, Ian Patchett ’24, Kassy Patino ’25, Clara Pearl ’25, Caroline Price ’25, Shira Radin ’24, Barra Shiffman ’24, Rebecca Stulberger ’25, Brooke Tannen ’25, Hailey Tannen ’25, Matt Teitelbaum ’23, Jonah Tinkelman ’24, Jenebah Tyler ’25, Alyssa Wooden ’25, Chris Yermack ’24, and Camila Zamora ’23.
Thank you for your consideration and support!
