Storytelling Comes to Life: Jeff Zentner Leads Writing Workshops on Campus

On Monday, April 14, The Anderson Library and English Department hosted acclaimed author Jeff Zentner in a variety of workshops.

Jeff's novel In the Wild Light was read by classes at the freshman, sophomore, and senior levels, and students in those sections were able to either hear from Jeff about his writing journey, or participate in a creative writing workshop on how to craft believable dialogue. Yet another group of select young writers on campus met with him for a lunch in our Alumni House, where they discussed their inspirations and heard from him on his.

This incredible experiential learning opportunity allowed literature to come alive for the students, and for those interested in creative career paths to hear the real story of how to make it work.
