Ski Team Places 2nd in Giant Slalom State Race

In the Giant Slalom State Championship races on February 26th, the Morristown-Beard School ski team finished second overall out of 14 teams at Mountain Creek. The Crimson were led by senior Alex D’Alessandro ’19, who placed second individually, and sophomore Branden Hawks ’21, who finished fourth. 

Sophomore Nikki D’Alessandro ’21 was 31st overall, followed closely by Jeseper Trapness ’19, who finished 35th, to round out the top four scorers for Morristown-Beard School.  Jackson Downey ’22 and Justin Recupero ’19 also skied well for the Crimson.

The MBS ski team finished the regular season with an impressive 21-5 record.  They will compete in the Slalom Sate Championship race on Thursday, February 28th.  Go Crimson!
