Ski Team Excels in Conference Giant Slalom Races

Congratulations to the MBS boys varsity ski team for placing second overall at the conference giant slalom race on February 13 at Mountain Creek.  Junior Nico Fonseca ’24 placed first overall with a time of 1:23.94. The MBS girls also skied well, placing fourth overall.

In Monday’s giant slalom competition, the boys were paced by Nico Fonseca ’24 (1^st), Chase Greenberg ’25 (15^th), Alex Pelinsky ’24 (16^th) and Nathan Soos ’25 (20^th).

The MBS girls ski team benefitted from strong racing by Brooke Fesq ’25 (11^th), Lily Horowitz ’26 (21^st), Hannah Everett ’23 (26^th), and Abbie Van Cleef ’24 (30^th).

The MBS ski teams will compete in the state championship races at Winter 4 Kids beginning next week. Go Crimson!
