Rebecca Tone '19 Writes Opinion Piece for the Daily Record

For her Senior Project this spring, Rebecca Tone ’19 worked in the newsroom of NorthJersey.com, the Daily Record and The Record.  Recently, the USA Today Network published her opinion piece, “Looking Ahead to 2020, High School Students and Grads Mull the Election.” Her story highlights the viewpoints of a number of her classmates including Matt Lohmann ’20, Quiya Harris ’19, George Burke ’19, and Molly Michel ’20.

Tone was the Valedictorian at the 2019 Commencement ceremony, and also received the Class Leader Award and the Dickinson W. Richards Cup, which is awarded to the senior girl who best exemplifies the qualities of character, scholarship, leadership and service. She will attend Georgetown University in the fall.
