MBS wrapped up Spirit Week with plenty of enthusiasm on Friday, October 21 as students and faculty held a Pep Rally on Burke Field.
SGA President Efe Omonzane ’23 and SGA advisor Zach Mazouat introduced all of the fall sports teams, who were greeted with applause as they ran onto the track.
Senior Alana Smith ’23 started the festivities by singing a powerful version of “The Star Spangled Banner.” Afterwards, the SGA raffled off chances for students to soak their favorite teachers with water balloons.
The students also got a chance to practice some of their cheers before the big Homecoming game on Saturday.
