Parents Hold First Coffee on Campus

On Thursday, October 21, the MBS Parents Association held its first event on campus as the 7th Grade parents gathered for coffee on the Alumni House lawn. The parents heard from Head of School Liz Morrison as well as Head of Middle School Boni Luna and Guidance Counselor and Wellness Chair Dr. Sam Tuttle.

After a welcome from Head of School Liz Morrison, Ms. Luna reviewed a number of upcoming Middle School events including the Halloween costume contest (October 29), and the Ice Skating Party (December 17). She said grade-level field trips are being planned for the spring. Dr. Tuttle spoke about social interactions in the middle school and encouraged parents to reach out with any questions or issues.

Also on Thursday, the 11th Grade parents met outside for coffee at Central Park of Morris County while the 10th Grade parents participated in a Zoom with Grade Dean Katie Pepper. Earlier in the week, the 6th Grade parents gathered in the Frelinghuysen Arboretum for coffee and a brief Q&A with Boni Luna.
