Parents Enjoy Jewelry-Making Workshop with Jeanine Erickson

On February 16, MBS parents participated in a jewelry-making workshop with faculty member Jeanine Erickson in the Center for Innovation & Design.

The class was the final event in the Community Classes series sponsored by the MBS Parents Association.  Other events this enjoyable winter series have included pasta-making with Jen Laviola, a sip & paint night with Jaimie Woodruff, and planetary exploration with our own NASA rocket scientist, Paul Fisher.

As party of the jewelry-making workshop, parents used sterling silver sheet and wire to make their own earrings in the MBS Design Studio. “All of the parents had students that I have taught,” said Ms. Erickson. “All were successful in making the earrings, and one even changed up the design!”

Be sure to check MBS Monday each week for an updated list of upcoming Parents Association events!
