Nicole Borowiec '19 Signs with Providence College

Congratulations to MBS senior Nicole Borowiec ’19, who signed a Letter of Intent to compete as part of the women’s track & field team at Providence College next year.

At Morristown-Beard School, Nicole has excelled in indoor and outdoor track as well as girls varsity field hockey.  In spring track, she holds a School record in the 400 hurdles (1:03.45) and advanced to the Meet of Champions for three years in a row. Last spring, she qualified for the Meet of Champions in the 100-hurdles and placed third in the 400-hurdles at the State Group Championships, narrowly missing a Meet of Champions qualifier by three hundredths of a second.

A state champion in multiple events, Nicole was named First Team NJAC-Liberty Division in 2018.

In winter track, she won the Morris County Championship in the girls 55-meter hurdles this past January in 8.48.

In February, she was selected by her coaches to represent Morristown-Beard School at the New Jersey celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day at Seton Hall University.
