New Upper School Students Participate in Orientation

Rain couldn’t dampen the excitement on campus on Wednesday, September 1 as new Upper School students gathered for orientation.

As they were dropped off, the new Upper Schoolers were greeted by the MBS Peer Leaders, who formed a ‘welcome tunnel’ and cheered enthusiastically for each student.

The new students also received a welcome from Head of School Liz Morrison and Head of the Upper School Ryan Liese before meeting in their advisory for the first time.  Mrs. Morrison encouraged the students to take risks, try new activities, and be kind to one another.

The MBS orientation program also included an introduction to classmates, teachers, campus resources, a tour of campus, and other activities.
