Middle School Tap Attack Class Showcases This Semester's Work
On Thursday afternoon, MBS parents got a glimpse inside “Tap Attack,” the Middle School tap dancing class, as the students and their teacher, Jim Ruttman, hit the stage in Founders Hall to share this semester’s warm-up exercises and routines.
Middle School Tap Attack combines traditional tap dance technique found in 42nd Street and Singing in the Rain with the energetic contemporary style of Stomp and Tap Dogs, to provide students with the opportunity to raise the roof and make some noise! In addition to developing focus and rhythmic intelligence, the students also increase physical stamina and coordination.
Congratulations to all of the student performers!
