Experimentation Meets Imagination at the Middle School Science Fair

This week, the lobby of Founders Hall was abuzz with curiosity, creativity, and discovery as 12 MBS Middle School students proudly showcased their independent science projects during the annual Science Fair. The event offered an inspiring glimpse into the inquisitive minds of our young scientists as they explored topics ranging from environmental science to food safety myths.

A huge congratulations to our award-winning students:

1st PlaceSam Martos ’31 - "Compost v. Soil", which impressed the judges with its thorough research and real-world implications.

2nd PlaceAarav Aggarwal ’31 -,"Debunking the 5 Second Rule", a fun yet factual look into everyday food safety.

3rd Place – Caden Reinman ’30 - "Color Perception and Taste", a fascinating dive into how visual cues influence our sensory experiences.

We are deeply grateful to our panel of expert judges — Dr. Sara Chuang, Haley Duggan, and Tahj Valentine ’18 — for sharing their time and scientific insight with our students.

Every student brought something unique to the table, and their passion for science was on full display. Bravo to all participants for their hard work and dedication:
