During spring break, a group of 24 MBS Middle School students and four faculty chaperones had an opportunity to experience "pura vida" (pure life!) by visiting Costa Rica – a wonderland of natural attractions known for its beaches, rainforests, volcanoes, and biodiversity.
The trip’s itinerary included white water rafting, ziplining, and visits to a volcano and a wildlife rescue facility. The group also toured San Jose, Sarchi Village, and a coffee plantation.
The students who participated in the trip were: Ashley Badcock, Haley Chestnut-Stein, Kelly Cross, Russell Dickson, Dairelys Espinal, Nicki Fiverson, Catalina Fonseca, Jake Greenwood, Sydney Kaplan, Giovanna Lattarulo, John Lischer, Vivianna Lisk, Sabrina Migdal, Layla Parrish, Avery Rosen, Olivia Rosten, Alexandra Sadrian, Allison Spencer, Connor Sullivan, David Thompson, Charlotte Tuttle, Russell Urbach, Anna Wade, and Maya Weinmann.
They were accompanied by faculty chaperones Alonda Casselle, Adriana Arroyave, Archana Sankar, and Dr. Sam Tuttle.
