This week, members of the Middle School Disney Club and the Robotics Club took a break from their regularly-scheduled programming and gathered on the pitch (well, the MBS softball field actually) to learn the basics of cricket.
After getting an overview of the rules of the game, the students were given a lesson in batting, bowling, and fielding from Middle School science teacher Archana Sankar, who is originally from Mumbai, India — a place where cricket is incredibly popular.
Students in Ms. Sankar’s Disney Club and Dr. Evangelista’s Robotics Club look forward to playing again in the near future… and perhaps challenging other members of the MBS community to a match!
