Middle School Celebrates Winter Sports Teams at Pep Rally

The MBS Middle School held its Winter Sports Recognition ceremony on Wednesday, March 6 with a new twist this year. After the coaches and student leaders gave a recap of the season, the students competed in a series of athletic games and contests as part of a pep rally event.

Congratulations to the 8^th Graders, who emerged victorious over the 6^th and 7^th Graders in three different competitions — basketball, handball, and floor hockey.

MBS Middle School Athletics emphasizes the development of the student-athlete academically, emotionally, socially, and physically. Coaches stress the virtues of sportsmanship, commitment, integrity, and teamwork in a supportive and empathic environment.

This winter, Middle School students had an option to participate in several different sports including:

·      Boys Basketball
·      Girls Basketball
·      Fitness
·      Ice Hockey (co-ed)
·      Swimming (co-ed)
