Mental Health Matters Hosts 2nd Virtual Pet Show

Mental Health Matters Hosts 2nd Virtual Pet Show

The first virtual pet show was such a success that the Mental Health Matters club decided to do it again!  The second installment featured another dose of cuteness as students and faculty members showed off their best friends and told a little bit about them.

Mental Health Matters, a student-led club designed to increase awareness and reduce the stigma around mental health, routinely brings therapy dogs to campus through a partnership with Creature Comfort Pet Therapy in Morris Plains. Since that is not possible this spring, the club decided to spread a little happiness by showcasing their own pets.

This time around, there were more faculty members participating including Lisa Swanson and her golden retriever Hobbes, Mairead Forrest and her basset hound mix Bailey, Linda Sisco and her wire fox terrier Rocky, and Katie Cannito and her cat Otto.
