MBS Welcomes Students into World Language Honor Societies and Celebrates Global Seal of Biliteracy Recipient

Recently, the MBS World Language Department proudly inducted 16 Upper School students into the French, Latin, and Spanish Honor Societies. These academic honors celebrate students who have demonstrated outstanding dedication, strong performance, and a genuine enthusiasm for world language learning.

These societies aim to encourage continued language study, recognize academic achievement, and deepen students’ understanding and appreciation of global cultures and perspectives.

French Honor Society Congratulations to the newest members of the French Honor Society, recognized for their commitment to French language and Francophone culture: Juliana Falzon ’26, Olivier Phanord ’26, Maria Pimenta ’27, Aidan Randall ’27, Gemma Schmid ’27, Marilee Vartanian ’26.

Latin Honor Society We also celebrated the newest inductees into the Latin Honor Society, honored for their study of classical language and Roman civilization: Jacob Breslow ’27, Jack Moore ’27, Aadi Reddy ’27, Cam Weil ’26, Caleb Wong ’27.

Spanish Honor Society Congratulations to the students who have earned induction into the Spanish Honor Society for their excellence in Spanish language study: Rye Fleming ’26, Nylah Gonzalez ’26, Joey Laviola ’26, Maria Pimenta ’27, Sara Tang ’27, Thomas Tucci ’27.

Global Seal of Biliteracy Congratulations to Baxter Thompson ’28, who was also recognized with the Global Seal of Biliteracy, honoring advanced proficiency in more than one language and a commitment to global communication.

We are incredibly proud of these students and the dedication they've shown embracing new languages and cultures.
