MBS Welcomes Students Back to Campus

Wearing facemasks and backpacks, Morristown-Beard School students returned to campus for the first time since March as the School kicked off the 2020-21 academic year on September 9.

An important part of the first week of school is to allow students and teachers the opportunity to become acclimated to the new routines and safety protocols including: daily temperature checks, one-way hallways, social distancing practices, disinfecting shared spaces, and plexiglass partitions on the desks.

Students also met with their advisories, participated in class meetings, discussed summer reading, and engaged in workshops on technology, self-care, and cultural competency. Middle School students attended their first classes on Thursday while Upper School students met with their teachers for the first time on Friday.
