MBS to be Honored by Cornerstone Family Programs

On Friday, April 3rd, Morristown-Beard School will be honored at the Cornerstone Family Programs’ Spring Gala for the School’s ongoing partnership with The Neighborhood House, which is a division of Cornerstone Family Programs.

Cornerstone Family Programs/Neighborhood House is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of the underserved in the Morristown area.  For many years, MBS Middle School students have been volunteering at The Neighborhood House. A different 7th Grade advisory visits The Neighborhood House each month to assist the preschool teachers by reading books aloud in class, playing games with the preschoolers, and participating in other activities.

Current MBS parents and trustees received an invitation to the Gala, which will be held on Friday, April 3rd at 6:30 p.m. at The Meadow Wood in Randolph.  While we would love to see MBS community members in attendance, there is no obligation to attend and families will not receive anything more from Cornerstone.

We were waiting until after the PA Gala to announce this special honor to the MBS community, however the invitations were sent out earlier than anticipated. We are honored to be recognized by a fellow community not-for-profit and will have both administration and faculty in attendance to receive the honor.
