MBS Hosts Softball Game with Special Olympics Athletes

Last Friday, members of the MBS softball team took the field alongside athletes from the Morris Patriots, a Special Olympics softball team, for an evening of fun and fundraising. The event raised nearly $2,000 with all proceeds from the game and concession sales benefitting the Special Olympics.

The game was the vision of MBS softball player Marilee Vartanian ‘26, whose brother, Sam, participates with the Special Olympics.

MBS is especially grateful to the entire girls softball team and to volunteers Abigail Borofsky ‘26, Aidan Conway ‘26, Reagan Gatz ‘25, Sophie Kotkin ‘26, Thomas Tucci ’27, and Cam Weil ’26.

Thanks to all who supported the event in so many ways!
