MBS Hosts 6th Annual Special Olympics Basketball Game
For the sixth year in a row, members of the MBS boys and girls basketball teams took the court alongside athletes from Storm, a Special Olympics basketball team, for a night of fun and fundraising on April 4th.
The game continued a tradition started by MBS graduate Meg Nelligan '16, whose brother Sean is a member of the Special Olympics basketball team.
Thursday night's event raised more than $2,200 and all proceeds from the game and concession sales benefitted the Special Olympics. During halftime, there was also a half-court shot competition that was won by MBS senior Bridget Monaghan ’19.
Thanks to all who volunteered and supported the event in so many ways!
