MBS Holds Successful Spring Food Drive

Despite the pandemic, MBS held a successful Spring Food Drive last week to benefit the Interfaith Food Pantry. Thanks to MBS 9th Grader Ellie Frohlich ’23, who organized the event, and the many members of our community who contributed in so many ways!

“I’m so appreciate of the MBS community effort — especially during quarantine!” said Frohlich, who had been organizing the Always Hungry Food Drive since September. “I know that we helped make a difference in our community.”

Frohlich and other volunteers delivered hundreds of pounds of donated food to the Interfaith Food Pantry and helped raise awareness for food insecurity in the spring and summer months. The event also brought students and staff together during quarantine and provide a contact-free community service opportunity while strengthening our bond with the food pantry.

Thank you again!
