MBS Graduate's Nonprofit, The Fiesta Bowl, Donates $1 Million in COVID-19 Relief

Morristown-Beard School graduate Scott Leightman ’88, Senior Director of Communication with the Fiesta Bowl, recently shared some good news that his organization donated $1 million in state-wide emergency relief funding to Arizona communities.

“Out here in Arizona, it’s not as bad as New York and New Jersey, but we’re trying to prevent that from happening,” said Leightman. “In addition to being known for top-level college football, my organization, the Fiesta Bowl, is a nonprofit. We donated $1 million to 18 nonprofits across the state in COVID-19 emergency relief funding — especially for food services and to support youth programming needs with school not in session.”

Some of the organizations benefitting from the Fiesta Bowl’s donations include local chapters of the YMCA, Homeward Bound, Children’s Cancer Network, Boys & Girls Clubs, and various food banks.
