Congratulations to the MBS field hockey team for advancing to the NJSIAA Non-Public North championship game following their 1-0 victory over Kent Place at home on Saturday, November 2nd.

The lone Crimson (15-3) goal came from Kaitlyn Tartagione ’21, who scored early in the game after taking a pass from Annabel Plante ’21. Goalie Josie Ashton ’22 stopped six shots in the defensive battle to keep Kent Place off the scoreboard.

“It’s a really big deal for us,” said Morristown-Beard senior Meaghan Karrat ’20. “We didn’t know what was going to happen this season but it’s all coming together."

The Crimson will now face their toughest test as they play undefeated Oak Knoll (22-0), the #1 team in the nation, in the NJSIAA Non-Public North championship game on Wednesday, November 6th at 2 p.m. on the road.  Go Crimson!
