MBS Field Hockey Advances to County Semifinals

Congratulations to the MBS field hockey team for advancing to the semifinals of the Morris County Tournament following a 4-2 win over Mendham at home on Monday, October 7th.

The third-seeded Crimson got goals from Joele Russomanno ’21, Kaitlin Tartaglione ’21, Annabel Plante ’21, and Lillian Warnock ’23 while Sofia Scordley ’20 and Logan Sutera ’22 added assists.  

In the net, goalkeeper Josephine Ashton ’22 turned away four shots to secure the victory.

With the win, MBS has now won six games in a row and improves to 10-1 for the season.

Morristown-Beard School will now play second-seeded Madison in the Morris County Tournament semifinals on Saturday, October 12th at 9 a.m. in Boonton.  Adults are $4, students/seniors are $3. Go Crimson!
