The MBS Debate Team was in action again this past weekend as they competed on Saturday, March 9 at Newark Tech. The students wrestled with the topic “Should college athletes be employees of the school?”
In this final interscholastic debate of the year, the MBS team registered its first win. Congratulations to all of the students who participated: Carleigh Cofer ’26, Brian O’Neill ’26, Rebecca Schwartz ’26 and Charlotte White ’26.
The team will be engage in inter-squad debates for the remainder of the year and is always looking for new members! Those interested should contact faculty advisor Dr. Sara Chuang or debate leaders Peter Buchanan ‘25, Lauren Koepff ‘25, or Alex McMahon ’25.
