Congratulations to MBS senior Massimo Banfi ’20, who was named the Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Player of the Week for September 17.
Morristown-Beard rattled off three straight wins over Hanover Park (5-2), Whippany Park (6-0), and Madison (5-2), and Banfi was a big factor in the Crimson’s success, tallying 11 goals in the team’s first five games. He had two goals and an assist against Hanover Park and followed it with a hat trick and an assist in the shutout of Whippany Park. Most recently, Banfi netted four goals in the home win over Madison.
The Crimson (4-1) will host Blair at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18th before traveling to Peddie for a 1 p.m. contest on Saturday, September 21st. Go Crimson!
