Liz Morrison Hosts Community Conversation on Athletics

On Thursday night, May 12, Head of School Liz Morrison hosted the fourth event in the MBS Community Conversations series – a discussion focusing on athletics at School.

Mrs. Morrison has previously held discussions on student support, the arts, and the cultural experience at MBS.

Mrs. Morrison began Thursday’s discussion by speaking about the importance that athletics have played in her life and the power they have to be transformational for some students. The conversation was then opened up to the parents, who spoke about the role of athletics in their child’s MBS experience and identified strengths and areas for improvement.

“I’m very interested in hearing about the MBS student experience through the family lens,” said Mrs. Morrison. “It’s important for me to have open lines of communication and your feedback is absolutely essential.”
