Lisa Swanson P'21 Receives John Fay Faculty Travel Grant

Congratulations to MBS Middle School teacher Lisa Swanson P'21, who has been selected to receive the John Fay Faculty Travel Grant. This grant supports the professional and personal growth of MBS faculty by funding inspirational and enriching travel opportunities.

For nearly two decades, Lisa has been an integral member of the MBS community as a teacher, mentor, and leader. She helped establish the famed MBS Mini-Boat Program and serves as a dedicated coach, inspiring students and colleagues alike through her creativity, collaboration, and commitment to experiential learning.

Established by the Board of Trustees in honor of John F. Fay P’11, ’14, ’20 for his dedicated service and leadership, the grant is awarded to faculty members who demonstrate excellence both in and out of the classroom, inspire and motivate their colleagues, and contribute meaningfully to the positive ethos of the School community.
