Erinn Salge, Director of Morristown Beard School’s Anderson Library, recently served as a panelist for the New York Book Forum event, “A Lapse in Literacy: How We Fight Back.”
Ms. Salge and the other panelists, Andre Eaton, New York State Director of ParentChild+, and Jill Hardy Heath, President and CEO of Heart of America, discussed ways to promote literacy, which is a critical part of the New York Book Forum’s mission. They addressed programming, what is needed from publishing companies, the problem of book bans, and more.
The event was moderated by Kate Davis, Assistant Director of the Jersey City Free Public Library.
