Laser Show Helps Middle School Kick Off Black History Month

Laser Show Helps Middle School Kick Off Black History Month

At Middle School Meeting on Wednesday, students enjoyed a Black History Laser Tribute — a dazzling visual and musical celebration of African Americans’ contributions to our nation’s history. The show, hosted by the Office of DEIB, transported students through time as a laser light show entertained and educated them with vivid animations set to a rocking soundtrack.

The laser show celebrated African American icons, including civil rights pioneer Rosa Parks, singer Aretha Franklin, and scientist George Washington Carver. The students witnessed historic events, such as the formation of the Tuskegee Airmen and the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I have a Dream” speech.

Showcasing advanced laser technology, this inspiring school assembly had everyone singing along with African American musical legends.
