Karina Kogan P’26, ’31 Inspires MBS Students with Lessons in Modern Marketing

Students in Mr. Greene’s Integrated Marketing Communications class had the opportunity to hear from Karina Kogan P'26, '31, an award-winning marketing and technology executive recognized for fueling brand equity, revenue growth, and digital innovation across some of today’s most disruptive and influential brands.

Ms. Kogan currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at Napster Corp, an innovation company pioneering the next generation of commerce, creativity, and connection through AI and immersive technologies. Her impressive career spans more than two decades in marketing and general management leadership roles, including serving as Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer at Pvolve, the omnichannel wellness brand partnered with Jennifer Aniston, and as CMO of Oura Ring, a leader in wearable health technology. She also previously held senior executive positions as SVP & Global Head of Product Marketing at Peloton and SVP of Digital Media and Products at WarnerMedia.

In addition to her executive experience, Ms. Kogan serves on the boards and advisory teams of several innovative companies, including Jackpot.com, AIR (Advanced Inhalation Rituals), and FightCamp.During her visit, Ms. Kogan spoke about the evolution of customer acquisition funnels in today’s rapidly changing digital media landscape. She explained how shifts in consumer behavior, technological advancements, privacy regulations, and the complexity of digital ecosystems have transformed the way brands attract, engage, and retain customers. She emphasized the importance of omnichannel strategies, authentic storytelling, and data-driven personalization in building meaningful connections with modern consumers.

Students walked away with valuable real-world insights into how leading brands use innovation and strategy to adapt to the evolving marketplace and create impactful customer experiences.
