Congratulations to MBS swimmers Isla Johnston ’25 and Will L’Estrange ’25, who both delivered fantastic performances at the NJISAA Prep Swim Championships this week and both qualified for the Meet of Champions.
In the Prep B Championships, Isla Johnston ’25 finished third overall in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 5:13.93. She also placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:57.29.
Will L’Estrange ’25 placed fourth overall in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 53.02. He placed sixth in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 5:09.45.
The Crimson boys also had strong showings from Ian Patchett ’24, who was 18th overall in the 500-yard freestyle (6:00.21) and Nick Troiano ’25, who placed 19th overall in the 100-yard backstroke (1:06.26). The MBS boys team finished fourth overall in Prep B.
On the girls’ side, freshman Catie Clark ’27 placed 18th overall in the 200-yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:34.82. The MBS girls team finished sixth overall.
