On Friday, November 22nd, 11 MBS students and four chaperones headed out to the woods in Blairstown for the sixth annual MBS Writers' Retreat.
Over the weekend, students worked on a variety of writing projects, including song lyrics, novels, poetry, and reflections. They also took a couple of walks in the woods, ate plenty, and drank astonishing amounts of hot chocolate!
The students attending the trip were: Massimo Banfi, Lara Blanton, Ethan Chestnut-Stein, Emma Hughes, Sam Kasmin, Pat Merrigan, Alex Miskewitz, Nicolas Mitchell, Sam Rivera, Jessica Roitman, and Kailyn Williams. They were accompanied by MBS faculty members Darren Lovelock, Nicole Freeto, Rebecca Van Horn, and Jordan Reed.
