Hatfield '15 Named to Tewaaraton Award Watch List

Congratulations to Morristown-Beard School graduate Teddy Hatfield ’15, who was recently named to this spring’s Tewaaraton Award Watch List. The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States.

A senior attackman at the University of Richmond, Hatfield has 10 goals and 10 assists in Richmond’s first four games of the season. He set the Spiders’ single-season record with 34 goals and 25 assists last spring, and is the university’s all-time points leader and the Southern Conference’s all-time points leader. Last season, he led the Spiders to the Southern Conference championship game.

At Morristown-Beard School, he led the team in scoring in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons. He led the Crimson to the Non-Public B Finals in the 2014 and 2015 seasons, winning the Prep B Championship and Waterman Division title in 2015 and the Klank Division title in 2014. He holds MBS records for career goals (227), assists (190) and points (417).
