Harvett '22 and Lebovitz '20 Honored for Sportsmanship

Congratulations to MBS student-athletes Zachary Lebovitz ’20 and Kirsten Harvett ’22, who received the Fall Sportsmanship Awards at Upper School Morning Meeting on Tuesday, November 19th.

Lebovitz (football) and Harvett (girls soccer) were praised by their coaches for their positive attitude, for their exemplary treatment of others, and for their graciousness in winning and losing.

“Kirsten always treats coaches, teammates, opponents and officials with courtesy, respect and fairness,” said MBS girls soccer head coach Mairead Forrest. “She puts maximum effort into everything that she does.”

MBS football head coach Tim Fell praised Zachary Lebovitz, saying, “He has a knack for doing and saying the right thing at the right time. He’s a ‘we’ guy, not a ‘me’ guy. He’s tough-minded and quietly leads by example.”

The fall Crimson Awards, which honor student-athletes who demonstrate outstanding character, commitment and leadership, will be presented at the year-end banquet in May.
