GLOW Club Sponsoring 5K and 10K to Help Local Women's Shelter

With the school year wrapping up, the GLOW (Girls Leading Our World) Club is sponsoring a Social Distance 5K and 10K to give members of the community an opportunity to take a break, get outside, and support a great cause. GLOW is using the event to fundraise for Jersey Battered Women’s Service (JBWS) a Morris-County based nonprofit that provides safety, support and solutions for domestic violence.

As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, more cases of domestic violence are occurring, and supporting a local women’s shelter seemed to be a logical way to help.  Members of the community can pledge to run a 5K or a 10K on their own time between May 17th and 23rd. To sign up, please click here

Runners are encouraged to donate $5 for a 5K or $10 for a 10K.  Of course, participants may donate more if they are comfortable. To donate, visit

Also, be sure to send your photos to @MBS.GLOW to be included on the club’s Instagram page.
